Rufunsa Training Workshop

This report outlines the outcomes of a visit by TAKUZA to the prisons in Chipata as well as a training workshop held to empower local of community members in Rufunsa and Mphashya. Issues discussed at the workshop focused on social justice, grounded in Catholic Social Teachings (CST), Global migration and the Zambian context, as well as knowledge on issues of human trafficking.

Objectives


The primary aim of the training was to enhance the capacity of frontline officers to address human trafficking and smuggling of migrants, improve coordination and collaboration among agencies and share insights, to improve intervention strategies.
